D.O. Ribeira — Treixadura
The vineyards are located in the Ribeiro region. The soils are very poor, with low clay content, but they feature a distinctive characteristic of Ribeiro: a high content of granitic sand known as “Sabrego”. These soils offer excellent drainage and promote slow and even ripening of the grapes.

The region’s climate is humid, with annual rainfall ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 mm. The influence of the surrounding mountains isolates the region from the Atlantic Ocean, creating a slightly continental climate with a significant difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures. In summer, temperatures can reach between 25 and 30 °C, while winters are mild, with temperatures around 5 to 10 °C, which contributes to the slow ripening of polyphenols and adds richness and aroma to the wines.

D.O. Rías Baixas — Albariño
The vineyards are located along the Miño River, in the southern part of Rías Baixas, within the O Rosal subzone. The region is characterized by a mild Atlantic climate with less rainfall compared to other subzones, ranging between 1,200 and 1,400 mm per year. The average annual temperature is around +15 °C, with mild winters and warm summers, where maximum temperatures reach around +25 °C.

The region's soils are primarily granite-based and sandy, offering excellent drainage, preventing waterlogging, and favoring the cultivation of grapes with a vibrant aromatic profile. These conditions allow the grapes to retain high acidity and develop complex fruity aromas with citrus and peach notes. The prolonged growing season enhances flavor development, while the subtle salinity—shaped by the maritime climate—adds a distinctive freshness to the wines.

Thanks to its sheltered position between the river and the hills, the region offers optimal conditions for cultivating the Albariño variety, which here is known for its bright freshness, balanced acidity, and pronounced fruity and mineral notes.

D.O. Ribeira SacraMencía
The estate’s vineyards, which cover 30 hectares, are located in the Ribeira Sacra wine region, in the heart of Galicia. The vines have very low yields and are cultivated using traditional terraced farming methods.

The region has a continental-oceanic climate with moderate temperature fluctuations: the average annual temperature is around +13 °C, with summer highs reaching up to +30 °C, creating a contrast with the cold winters. Annual rainfall ranges between 900 and 1,200 mm, with the heaviest precipitation occurring in autumn and winter. The soils are predominantly clay, granite, and slate-based, with varying amounts of silt, sand, and clay, offering good drainage and supporting excellent root development.

These conditions are ideal for cultivating the Mencía grape, which requires a complex environment for slow ripening, allowing it to fully express its acidity, red fruit aromas, and the spicy character typical of the variety.

D.O. ValdeorrasGodello
The vineyards are located in the Valdeorras wine region, in Galicia.

This region lies in the eastern part of Galicia and is known for its ideal climate and soils for cultivating the Godello grape. The climate is continental-Mediterranean with Atlantic influence: warm summers with daytime temperatures between 25–30 °C and cool nights, while in winter, temperatures range between 0 and 10 °C. The soils are diverse, including slate, granite, and clay, which provide good drainage and contribute minerality to the wines. Annual precipitation ranges between 800 and 1,000 mm, most of which falls in autumn and winter, reducing the risk of vine diseases.

These climate and soil conditions are perfect for native grape varieties, giving the wines structure, bright acidity, and minerality, with characteristic citrus fruit aromas.
